Jailall (Jai) Ramnauth, Ph.D.,MBA

Jai Ramnauth has over 15 years of drug discovery and development experience, having co-discovered three drugs that are currently in clinical trials.  He has worked in the CNS and antibacterial therapeutic areas, serving as Group Leader of discovery chemistry at NeurAxon, and Senior Scientist at Affinium Pharmaceuticals.  He obtained his Ph.D in organic chemistry from York University under the guidance of Professor Ed Lee-Ruff followed by an NSERC industrial research fellowship with Dr. Suman Rakhit at MCR Research.  Dr. Ramnauth also holds an MBA degree  from Schulich School of Business at York University with specialization in finance and strategic management.
